Windows showed a blue warning? Here's how to continue
The first time you open Tziyun B'Rega, Windows may show a blue window titled "Windows protected your PC". This is expected, and you can continue in two clicks.

Three simple steps
1
Step 1
Click "More info"
The "More info" link is in the blue window, under the explanation. Do not click "Don't run": that button closes the window without opening the program.

Step 2
Check that it's our file
Two new lines now appear in the window: the name of the file you downloaded, and the words "Unknown publisher". That's normal: the program is not digitally signed yet (see the explanation further down).

Step 3
Click "Run anyway"
The button is at the bottom of the blue window. After you click it, the program opens.

The first time: wait up to half a minute
On the first launch Windows checks the program, so the Tziyun B'Rega window may only appear after about half a minute. There is no need to click the file again. Later launches are fast.
Why does this warning appear? Is it a virus?
The warning does not mean a virus was found. Windows shows it for any new program it does not recognise yet.
Well-known programs carry a "digital signature", a kind of ID card from the maker. Tziyun B'Rega is not signed yet, so Windows says "Unknown publisher". Once the program is signed, this warning is expected to go away.
The warning usually appears only the first time you open the downloaded file.
Important for your safety
Only click "Run anyway" for a file you downloaded yourself from the official Tziyun B'Rega client portal. If the file came from anywhere else (a USB stick, an email, a message), do not run it: contact us first.

Don't see "Unblock"? Then the file is not blocked, and the reason is probably a setting made by your institution (see below).
The computer is managed by your institution
On institution computers, the person in charge of the computers sometimes sets Windows so the warning cannot be bypassed. In that case the button never appears, and there is no need to try changing settings yourself.
Ask your institution's computer administrator to approve Tziyun B'Rega, or call us and we will talk it through with them.
A different message appeared: "app blocked"
Windows 11 sometimes has an extra protection called Smart App Control, which blocks programs that are not signed yet and shows no button to continue. If that happens, call us and we will help you install safely.
